It is with profound sorrow that Rafique Foundation for Education and Healthcare, USA announces the passing of our esteemed Education Advisor, Professor AKM Nurul Huq, a distinguished Professor of English and an exceptional educationist, who departed this life peacefully at approximately 8:30 PM on the 2nd of April 2026.

Professor Huq devoted more than three decades of his life to the noble cause of education, serving with honour, dedication, and unwavering integrity in various Government Colleges across Bangladesh. His distinguished career culminated in his retirement as the respected Principal of Manikganj Government College, where his leadership and commitment to academic excellence left a lasting imprint on both colleagues and students alike.

Following his retirement from Government service, Professor Huq continued to contribute significantly to the field of education. He served as Vice Principal and Head of the English Department at Milestone School and College, where his wisdom, discipline, and passion for teaching continued to inspire generations of learners until his retirement in 2021.

In the years thereafter, Professor Huq generously dedicated his time and expertise as a pro bono Education Advisor to Rafique Academy, Ratna Palong, a subsidiary institution of Rafique Foundation for Education and Healthcare, USA. His guidance proved invaluable in strengthening academic standards and fostering a culture of excellence within the institution. His commitment to nurturing young minds remained steadfast throughout his life.

Professor Huq will be remembered not only as an accomplished academic and mentor, but also as a man of remarkable character, humility, and compassion. His legacy lives on through the countless students whose lives he enriched, inspired, and guided across the nation.
